Professional Resources

You are there.
You have always been there.
Even when you thought
you were climbing
you had already arrived.

Resources

According to The Free Dictionary, the word "resource" is taken from the "Old French", the past participle of "resourdre", which means "to rise again", from the Latin "resurgere", which means "to rise".  A resource has now come to describe something that can be used for support, "an available supply that can be drawn on when needed", the ability to take the initiative to handle a "...troublesome situation effectively",  or as means to "...cope with a difficult situation".

Often we use "resource" in the plural.  And we use it to characterize the way we can effectively utilize our strengths, our integrity, our passion.  In the coming months, this page will link to interviews with people who demand the best from themselves, and generously share their resources with others.  Let's see how they "rose to the occasion", as the expression goes.  Stay tuned...
